  1. Build your personal brand & Exposure: Harness the media (social media platforms and sites with great SEO, newspapers, magazines etc.), using consistent language, content and actions to portray a compelling models pitch to hirers and to build your presence.
  2. Build and Publish your modelling Portfolio: Compile a standard modelling portfolio. Make your portfolio attractive, tailored to the type of jobs you want to do or specialize in. Become an expert: Learn about the history and intricacies of the modelling world and use your indepth study of it to our advantage and for aspiring or new models, by conducting modelling workshops, writing a book or a modelling guide in order to share your insights. Partnerships in this area will help improve reach and credibility; Collaborate with Photographers, Videographers, Make-up artist etc., to create courses and guides relevant to the fashion industry.
  4. Sell your Features: Iconic Models are ones with specific features that makes them instantly recognizable or unforgettable. Sell ever part of you; the uncommon, the weird & even the-not-so acceptable features. Be an iconic model. Find one thing that others do not have/want and rather than minimize, Maximize IT.   5. Connect with Bloggers: Bloggers are your friends, connect with them inorder to create valuable back-links for your brand. Reach out to as many blogs as possible to get paid and collaborative features on their platforms. In order to maximize this practice, your content/ visual portfolio must be compelling, eye-catchy and tailored to you.
